China Weekly Kickstart:Equities creep up further on sentiment boosts

CSRC lowered A-share transaction charges by 25%, whichwas taken as a sign of policy support. China official April PMI came in at 53.3%, up from 53.1% in March but slightly below marketexpectation (consensus: 53.6%). A-shares continued to outperform offshore market as H-share retreated in the later part of the weekdue to disappointing DM macro data (Euro zone April PMI dropped to 3-year low at 45.9, the unemployment rate rose to high levelsand below expectations US job data) and block sales for China banks in the H share market.
